we've included a brief biography of the physician team at The
Urological Center. But first, you should know that all our doctors
are Board Certified in Urology.

| Hugh J. Talton, M.D., F.A.C.S. |
Dr. Talton was born in Port Arther, Texas and reared in a small
town in north Louisiana. He graduated with a BS from LA Tech in 1963
and then entered Medical School at Tulane University in New Orleans.
He graduated from Medical School in 1967 and then entered the U.S.
Navy for his internship which was done at Portsmouth Naval Hospital,
Portsmouth, VA. He then spent 2 years aboard the USS Canopus, Submarine
Tender, as Chief Medical Officer. His Urology speciality training
was done at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD frorn
1970-1974. He was then the Chief of Urology at the Naval Hospital,
Charleston, SC, until 1976 at which time he joined The Urological
Center.
Dr. Talton is certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow
of the American College of Surgeons. He currently has hospital privileges
at Washington County Hospital, Waynesboro Hospital, and Fulton County
Medical Center.
Currently, he resides on a working farm south of Hagerstown with his
wife, Marty, and son, Andrew. |
| Wayne A. McWilliams., M.D., F.A.C.S. |
Dr. McWilliams obtained his undergraduate education at Westem Maryland
College and received his medical degree from the University of Maryland
in 1979. He completed residency training in General Surgery and Urology
at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. He then moved
to Hagerstown to join The Urological Center in 1984. Dr. McWilliams
is certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons. He is a member of many professional
and civic organizations.
Dr. McWilliams is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
He has privileges at Washington County Hospital, Waynesboro Hospital,
and Fulton County Medical Center.
Dr. McWilliams is married and has four children. His
recreational interests include golf, tennis, and skiing. |
| Patrick J. Dennis, M.D., F.A.C.S. |
Dr. Dennis graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A.
from the University of Maryland, College Park (1978), and earned his
M.D. at the University's Medical School in Baltimore, where he graduated
with honors
(1982). He trained in General Surgery at University Hospital, The
Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of the Pennsylvania State University
in Hershey, Pennsylvania from 1982-1985 and did his residency in Urology
at the same institution from 1985 until 1989 when he entered private
practice with The Urological Center.
Dr. Dennis is certified by the American Board of Urology and
a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is licensed to practice
in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Dennis has privileges to practice at Washington County Hospital,
Waynesboro Hospital, and Fulton County Medical Center since 1989.
He is married with three wonderful children. |
| Kevin C. Hackett, M.D., F.A.C.S. |
Dr. Hackett earned his B.S. degree from Georgetown University (1985)
and his M.D. degree from Georgetown University Medical School (1989)
where he graduated with academic honors. He was elected into the National
Honor Medical Society in 1988. His post graduate training includes
residencies in General Surgery and Urology at Georgetown University
Hospital. He joined The Urological Center in 1995. Dr. Hackett is
certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
He enjoys privileges at Washington County Hospital, Waynesboro Hospital,
and Fulton County Medical Center.
Dr. Hackett is married and has three sons. |
| M. Rafique Chaudhry, M.D., F.A.C.S. |
Dr. Chaudhry is a graduate of King Edward Medical College, 1974.
He completed his urology residency training at Long Island College
Hospital, New York and a one year fellowship in renal transplant at
Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. He started his practice of
urology in 1982 at George Washington University Hospital, Washington,
DC and in 1984 moved to Hagerstown.
Dr. Chaudhry is certified by the American Board of Urology in 1985
and then re-certified in 1995. He is a Fellow of the American College
of Surgeons.
Dr. Chaudhry is married and has four wonderful children and lives
east of Hagerstown.
He currently has privileges at Washington County Hospital, Waynesboro
Hospital and Frederick Memorial Hospital. |
| Hamayun
S. Mian, M.D. |
Mr.
Mian earned
his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, University
Park, PA (1989), and earned his M.D. at Hahnemann University, School
of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA (1992). He did his residency in Urology
at Geisinger Health System from 1998-2002 when he entered private
practice with The Urology Center.
Dr. Mian has special interests
in Laparoscopic Urology Procedures, Sacral InterStim Therapy, Urological
Oncology, and Female Urology (stress/urge incontinence and cystocele/enterocele
repairs).
Dr. Mian has privileges to practice
at Washington County Hospital, Waynesboro Hospital, and Fulton County
Medical Center.
Dr. Mian resides here locally
with his wife and their three sons. |
| Daniel J. Lamont, PA-C |
Mr. Lamont earned his PA degree from George Washington University
in 1996 in Washington, D.C. He interned in Arizona before spending
one year at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He spent seven years in the United
States Navy as a hospital corpsmen at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He
joined The Urological Center in 1999.
Mr. Lamont has been a member of the American Academy of Physician
Assistants (AKPA) for seven years. He is board certified by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is
the founder of the Urologic Association of PAs (UAPA). He is licensed
to practice in Maryland.
Mr. Lamont is married and has three wonderful children. He lives in
Frederick with his family.
